2023 VHSA Annual Meeting & Convention
We are pleased to announce that the VHSA Annual Meeting and Convention will be held December 1st ~ 3rd at The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia.

There are a limited amount of rooms available, so please make your reservation as soon as possible.
The weekend kicks-off with various meetings on Friday, December 1st. On Saturday, December 2nd, there will be numerous informational meetings and forums. The VHSA Special Events Committee along with the Virginia Horse Industry Board, will be hosting the “Equine Jeopardy Team Competition”, on Saturday from 12:00 ~ 2:00 p.m. This fun and extremely competitive event will consist of teams competing to see who is the most knowledgeable. Start gathering your teammates together for this exciting event! Cedar Creek Farm, Jenny and Mike Graham, have graciously agreed to sponsor the Junior Members Skating Party once again this year on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Please join us for fun skating along with hot chocolate and cookies.
Saturday evening will be the President's Reception which is sponsored by Virginia Horse Industry Board. This will be followed by the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. We are pleased to announce the 2023 VHSA Inductees:

Sunday morning, December 3, 2023, will begin with various meetings, including the Membership meeting at 10:30 a.m. where all current Senior members will vote for the 2024 VHSA Board of Directors. The Awards Luncheon will also be held this day to celebrate all of the winners for the 2023 Season beginning with the Awards Reception, sponsored by the Virginia Horse Industry Board, from 12:00 ~12:30 p.m., the LIVE AUCTION will begin at 12:15 p.m. with some amazing items such as an Antares Saddle, MJR Horse Transportation, LM Boots and more. This will be followed immediately by the Awards Luncheon. Awards will be given 1st through 6th place.
If unable to attend, Champion and Reserve ribbons will automatically be mailed to the winner. For 3rd through 6th place, the winner must e-mail the VHSA office (email@example.com) no later than January 31, 2024, to request the ribbons be mailed to them at no charge. If after this date, the postage expense will be paid by the member. In the e-mail, please include name of horse/pony, name of owner/rider, placement and the address where the ribbon(s) should be mailed to. Ribbons will be mailed after the Convention.
We will be holding a Live & Silent Auction throughout the weekend to benefit the VHSA, so this is a great place to pick up some early Christmas presents. Anyone interested in donating items for our Auction, please contact the VHSA office.
